AL CANTOR writes fiction, television, film, and theater. He recently completed his first novel, DEAD MEAT. Prior to this, Hal's one hour legal drama pilot, MOUTHPIECE, was optioned by Fox Television Studios. He wrote THE LAKE EFFECT, a one-hour drama pilot for SHOWTIME, developed with Emmy-winning director, Scott Winant. His comic internet series, HOLD, PLEASE can be seen at www.strike.tv . Additional television and film credits: TWILIGHT, a one-hour drama pilot written for Sony Pictures Television; the parody short, NYPD JEW, which can be seen on movieflix.com; several short films, which he's written and directed, including DEPARTED (selection: Silverlake Film Festival); and numerous shows for the VH1 Music Channel.
