Richard Lawrence 'Larry' Carp (January 26, 1926 August 22, 2012). Clayton lawyer Larry Carp served in the U.S. military and worked as a diplomat and playwright. Mr. Carp became an intern at the United Nations in 1948. He worked for the U.N. in Paris and became an adviser to the Arab-Israeli talks and an observer at the International Red Cross Conference, he told the Post-Dispatch in 2002.
