Frank Caucci is Chair of the Department of Modern Languages at Indiana University Northwest. With a D. E. A. in modern French literature and a Ph.D. in comparative literature from the Sorbonne, he has worked extensively in Francophone literature and Canadian studies. He has divided his. scholarly efforts between criticism and translation. His books include: Les voix d'eros; la poesie amourcuse de Paul Eluard et de Pablo Neruda and translations of the poetry of Pier Giorgio Di Cicco (Les amours difficiles) and Mary Di Michele (Pain et chocolat). Many of his recent articles have been about Canadian, particularly Quebecoise, literature.
