He has spent the past seven years producing his original theatre in New York City, much through his arts collective Pug Mike Samantha. In addition to plays produced through the Brick Theatre, the Downtown Urban Theatre Festival, the Ontological-Hysteric Incubator and chashama, he has co-produced the Southside Summer Fiesta and Traveling Halloween Festival, community performance festivals funded through the Brooklyn Arts Council. Outside of the city, his plays have been produced in Oregon, Connecticut and Washington, D.C., and his one-act play Counselor will soon be published by Original Works Publishing. He earned his MFA in Dramatic Writing from NYU, where he won the John Golden Playwriting Prize.

Raising Cane: A Family Portrait
Synopsis:
This is part of Fight Fest at the Brick. In the tradition of early John Waters and Troma Films, Raising Cane: a Family Portrait follows the familial disfunctions of simpleton in-breeds who love nothing more than beating each others' brains out. Camp humor and grotesque combat combine to explore the question of whether we stick with family cause we love 'em or if we love 'em because we can't escape.
