JOHN CHAMBERS

Nationality:    British
email:    Click here to contact     Website:    n/a

Literary Agent:    n/a

John Chambers divides his writing, more or less equally, between Theatre and tele. His first stage work was produced by Pan Theatre in the early eighties and he's consistently returned, by choice, to write on the Manchester fringe ever since. He was Arts Council Resident Dramatist at L.T.C. for a couple of years and Resident Writer at M6 Theatre Co. He's collaborated with quite a few other writers (see play list). John has had 40 odd plays produced ranging from number one tour, lots of rep in the Northwest to profit share one-handers and commissioned Theatre School and Youth productions.

Look, The
a young, bright woman who, in spite of her Audrey Hepburn looks, is trapped by her past. Her disillusioned tutor in popular culture sees her talent - and a way for them both to make it big.
