Synopsis:
O.K. is a play about money and shared love and deals with the recurrent theme in Chocron's work of what makes up a family unit. a seamstress in her 50s and a handsome and unproductive man 15 years her junior receive a visit from a rich widow. This evolves into a 'menage-a-trois' until jealousy puts this 'special' family unit in jeopardy. the two women then must find a solution that they are both satisfied with. Money and love make the decision all the more difficult for the seamstress and in the end, the decision is still to be made. Unlike director Rene Buch's first two productions of O.K., which were realistic in style, he now intends to present a timeless abstraction that highlights the trio's motivation for this unusual relationship and the fragile separation between love and money.
