MAGGIE CINO won the FringeNYC 2012 Overall Excellence Award in Playwriting for her full length play, Decompression. Her one woman short, Ascending Bodily, is published by the New York Theater Experience, and her contribution to Piper McKenzies Dainty Cadaver project This Is a Brick is published in the Midway Journal. She has co-created and performed material for numerous productions, including No Applause, Just Throw Money: The Show That Made Vaudeville Famous (Theater For the New City, NYC) Molieres Monster (Ohio Theater, NYC) and Tramp!: A Clown Show (Nationwide Tour). Very selected stage acting credits include Faith, Hope and Charity (The Public Theater, NYC), Brandywine Distillery Fire (Incubator Arts Project), and Word to No One (Camden Peoples Theater, London). Professional voice over credits include narration for educational sex ed videos and voices for Todd Soldonzs Life During Wartime. She is a Senior Producer, story coach, and director for the Peabody and MACEI award-winning organization, The Moth.

Ascending Bodily
a fantastical solo play in which an unusual lady with many handbags muses about life, love, and llamas. Debuted as part of Screaming Venus Productions' "eve's apple" festival at the Kraine theatre, January 2002. Maggie Cino has been seen inGeek on Smack (co-created with Patty Litzen), angry Little People (co-created with Carolyn Raship), and Die Like a Lady: Or What Barbara Got, all of which were produced (in different years) at the New York International Fringe Festival. She will be in the United Kingdom in early 2003 performing in Julia Lee Barclay's No One.

Synopsis:
Katie's ecstasy isn't working. amanda never liked it anyway. It's Burning Man Decompression night and eight bored hipsters invent a lottery. Things turn ugly, alliances shift, and an unexpected guest changes everything. a year later, they're still coming down.

Piper Mckenzie's Dainty Cadaver

18 playwrights. 3 plays. One performance of each. Piper McKenzie's Dainty Cadaver is an exquisite Corpse-style playmaking project in which multiple playwrights collaborate on a single work without knowing what the hell the others are doing. each writer reads the previous scene, writes a new scene, and passes it on to the next writer - who doesn't see any of what came earlier. Beautiful madness ensues.
