He has compiled and edited three non-fiction books for the National Library of Australia. One, The Endless Playground: Celebrating Australian Childhood, is currently being considered for production as a three-part documentary by ABC television. Deadline: A Manual for Hostage-Taking won the Canberra Playwrights' Competition and was produced in 2001.
