JUDITH CLUCAS

Nationality:    British
email:    n/a     Website:    n/a

Literary Agent:    Culverhouse Associates

Born in Hackney, London, Judith started her writing career as a member of The Bloody Lyres, performing comic poetry. Her first play for theatre, Village College, was given a rehearsed reading at The Crucible Theatre as part of the Writers First Festival, and her second, Photofinish (Sola Energy Theatre Co) was performed at The Etcetera Theatre and regionally toured. Her television work includes episodes of Hollyoaks; Brookside - where her scripts covering the Bev and Josh story helped the programme win accolades - and The Courtroom where her episode 'Caught in the Wheels' was chosen as 'pick of the day' in the Telegraph. She is currently developing several new projects, including a one-woman play 'Vodka for Water' (a dark comedy about hitting rock-bottom and coming up for air); 'Daisy' (a play exploring female Asperger's); and a screenplay 'The Field of Herts, Beds, and Bucks' (a dark comedy about post-menopausal love, passion and redemption).
