Ann Coburn lives in Berwick upon Tweed and the wild landscape of North Northumberland often features in her writing. Her most recent books include GLINT (Random House), an award-winning novel for older readers, and DREAM TEAM (Walker Books),a fiction series for younger children about a team of trainee Dream Fetchers. The first four DREAM TEAMbooks are out now and the next four are coming soon. When not writing under her own name, Ann leads a parallel life as a childrens fiction ghost writer, and also writes for stage and T.V. Her first theatre play, GET UP & TIE YOUR FINGERS (Oberon Books), had a successful run at the 1996 Edinburgh Festival and won the Arts Councils 1997 John Whiting award for new theatre writing. She has since written six more theatre plays, for both adults and children. Anns plays are published by Oberon Books.
