Bill Connington is a New York-based actor and playwright. His play ZOMBIE is an award-winning adaptation of the novella by Joyce Carol Oates. It played first at the New York International Fringe Festival, then enjoyed a 3-month extended run Off-Broadway, and transferred to continue at the Gerald W. Lynch Theater. ZOMBIE was subsequently adapted into an award-winning short film. Bill wrote the book to "The Eternal Anniversary" which played at 59 East 59 Theater, and his adaptation of "The Picture of Dorian Gray" along with the solo play "Dating Rituals of the American Male" have been performed in New York. His plays "Lord Byron's Lover" and "God and the Supermodel" were both finalists at the National Playwrights Conference (The O'Neill). He is a graduate of The London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art.

Dating Rituals Of the American Male

Synopsis:
a solo play featuring ten different male charcters and how they relate to women - in good and bad ways. the play starts in the present, and each scene moves back ten years in time - to end up in the early 20th Century. In 100 years, some things have been gained, and some lost in male/female relations.

Eternal Anniversary, The

Synopsis:
a hotel chef in 1913 New York City makes the perfect meal for his anniversary dinner. Very much in love with his wife, he is haunted by the suspicion that she was unfaithful to him years ago. Finding a lost bottle of Grand Marnier to complete the meal, he discovers evidence of her innocence. they can finally rest assured in their "perfect love."
