I live in sunny South West France having moved here from Basingstoke in 2001. Don't say 'Basingstoke?' like that! Someone had to live there. It was not long after arriving that, with a small group of like minded friends, we set up an English/French Theatre Group. 'La Troupe D'acteurs du Quercy' to put on pantos in dual language and English plays. Aladdin

Synopsis:
Crippled aladdin loves Jade but he's too poor to court her. So when the Genie gives him three wishes he goes for riches, have his bad leg cured and Jade to fall in love with him. the wicked avasneezer poisons Jade. the only way to save her is for him to give up all his wishes for a mighty wish that will cure her.

Cinderella (Cendrillon)

Synopsis:
Cendrillon can't go to the ball. Oh yes she can, she does and meets the prince, flees at midnight and is found by the prince the following day, they marry and live happily ever after. the classic story.

French Letters

Synopsis:
the male staff of a hotel get called up into the Catering Corps during WW2 and end the war in Northern France. Liaisons are made with the local female population. at the end of the war they return home to the hotel, their partners and complications. Seven years later the Mayor of the French town brings a delegation to see the Coronation. Old acquaintances are not forgotten and a dreadful mix up over similarly sounding names leads to an almighty misunderstanding.

although this is A musical comedy there Are some very dark parts.

Synopsis:
Horrid little Michelle gets blown into the Jack and the Beanstalk story. after battling with the giant and an evil Lord Chancellor to help Jack save the goose, harp and slaves she learns the meaning of humility and how to be a nice girl.

Synopsis:
Set in 1959. Down at the tennis club everyone's at it, and I don't mean the tennis. When the lothario tennis coach gets murdered there's no shortage of suspects or motives.

Sleeping Beauty

Synopsis:
Wicked Fairy Biteyerbum casts a spell on baby Princess Rose that she will prick her finger on a spinning wheel and die. the good fairies water down the magic so that she only falls asleep for a hundred years. When she wakes she's wooed by a handsome Prince but terror waits for her in his land for his mother is a cannibal!
