Private Angelo
Synopsis:
a laugh-a-minute love story is promised as storytellers Mike and Philip seduce us to the Mediterranean once again for a very different kind of romantic tale. Italian soldier Private angelo is without the gift of courage but, blessed with great wisdom and infectious good humour, he steers an hilarious path through the tragedy of war. Set during World War II at the time when Italy surrenders, there are glorious moments of comedy as our hero falls in love with two women, Lucrezia and annunciata, and finishes the story with a happy heart and many children.
