All the Fun Of the Fair

Synopsis:
David essex stars in a brand new musical 'inspired by' his 1975 album of the same title featuring many of his hits from this and other albums with a story based on his Irish traveller roots on his mother's side. essex plays Levi, the owner of a travelling fun fair, struggling to survive in the 1970s. Levi, whose wife was killed in an accident on the motor cycle wall of death, has an on-off relationship with the fair's fortune teller Rosa, just as Levi's son Jack has with Rosa's daughter Mary, but Jack falls for alice, the daughter of local gangster Harvey, in one of the towns they visit. although Levi and Harvey find they have a great deal in common, prejudice on both sides forces the young couple to carry on their affair in secret, ultimately with tragic consequences.

Last Night A DJ Saved My Life

Synopsis:
The Hoff, plays Ross, a hilarious hedonist. He's Ibiza's top 80's DJ who doesn't realize a new decade has dawned, disco is out, the club scene is in. He tries to keep up with the times. . .and with Mandy, his new younger girl-friend (Kim Tiddy, from 'The Bill' , ''Hollyoaks'), but matters are complicated when his teenage daughter Penny (Stephanie Webber From tv's 'The Voice') arrives to stay. Father and daughter haven't seen each other for three years, since a messy divorce. No longer a demure school girl, but a wild child who quickly falls for Rik, the holiday rep (Shane Richie Junior). It's the story of two generations colliding, as a badly behaved parent, tries to control a wild child teenager... telling her, 'Do as I ay, not as I did!'! This hilarious hit fest is also a touching father and daughter drama, set against a background of sun, sea, sex, drugs and rock and roll& taking us back to the 80's and 90's when we wore denim overalls, girls had hair scrunchies, and guys played Nintendo game boy. Think 'Mamma Mia' on speed! 'Friends' meets 'Ibiza Uncovered', with the soundtrack of our lives.

Truth, Lies, Diana

Synopsis:
Some secrets are best left unsaid, and we all have secrets we'd rather other people not know about. A playwright uncovers secrets about Diana and her death, that the establishment have tried to keep hidden. As he does, his own life starts to unravel and he becomes paranoid, suspecting the wife he is devoted to, of being unfaithful. Is Ray being manipulated by the 'men in grey' that Diana had always maintained existed, or does no-one in their right mind believe Diana was murdered? Ray finds similarities with Diana's inquest, to the cover up with the Hillsborough inquest. Then disturbingly links events surrounding Savile, Stephen Lawrence, the hacking trails, Edward Snowden and MI5 involvement in the MP child abuse scandal, into the same pattern. With meticulous forensic research, revelations from previously silent sources and access to Police witness statements and court transcripts, the nine handed play uses the actual words spoken by a cast of characters including the inquest judge and barristers, James Hewitt, Piers Morgan, Paul Burrell, Mohammed Al Fayed, senior Met officers, members of MI6, witnesses to Diana's crash, and the Royal Family.
