We are a new performance collaboration formed in early 2013 and based in the South Coast of England. We want to make work which comments on the absurdities of the now and the world we live in. Through task based performance methods in our devising process, we hope to create playful work, which both excites and frustrates our audience. We are committed to making use of the tools at hand and around us and because of this, much of our work is created with a DIY attitude and this same attitude is apparent in our final performances.

Cracker, Water, Spit, Repeat         Exchange, The         Now That's What I Call A Tribute!         This Is Not An Egg         You Are Here

Cracker, Water, Spit, Repeat

Synopsis:
Cracker, Water, Spit, Repeat is a live art solo performance which comments on the everyday consumers relationship to Western capitalism and the role they play in the useless dystopic machine. Set in list form, the performance is a string of predictions about the future which ultimately deny any hope or belief for our current political state. In a world where youre constantly told to try and be optimistic, this piece savagely looks at the world and notices that there is nothing to be optimistic about.

Exchange, The

Synopsis:
A project which explored and experimented with the notion of strangers living together within a community. As a collaborative piece of work, The Exchange was and is the compilation of two individual research agenda's, one which situated itself between a cold and yet intimate state and one which directly dealt with a physical exchange in the community. As members of the community of Chichester, this piece was tailored to it's strangers and inhabitants.

Now That's What I Call A Tribute!

Synopsis:
Hello, we're Daniel and Rachel. Our mums told us we could be anything we wanted to be. Now we want to find out if they were telling the truth. We're a cheap knock off tribute act looking to the past, our past, in an attempt to make sense of an uncertain future. Armed with red bull, microphones and the carpet from your local pub, Now that's what I call a tribute! is an exploration of the world we as two people were born into, our so-called degenerate generation and what it means to remember someone else's nostalgia.

This Is Not An Egg

Synopsis:
Its absolutely fine, its completely understandable. A multimedia solo performance exploring sexuality, identity and choice, with a combination of stop-motion animation and live performance and using aversion therapy as the control, this performance delves into the methods of eradication of choice. This is not an egg looks at the subconscious and how making a choice is never an easy option. This is not an egg is a darkly comic, un-nerving performance that plays on the control of audience and performer, taking the audience on an exploration of a lost individual in a world where we must make the right choices in order to be accepted into society.

You Are Here

Synopsis:
We're so grateful that you chose to be with us tonight. You chose to be with us instead of out there. . .The end is nigh. The countdown is on. There's only one final hour left until the world, our world, falls apart so let's just make the most of our time together, shall we? We're Daniel and Rachel and we want to make amends. We want to forgive ourselves for an unsuccessful life. All the things we're told we should have done, all the things we wanted to do, all the things we said we would do tomorrow. It's time to accept our fate, with a ukulele, sandwich boards and a single balloon to help us along the way. So far, it has taken you approximately 23 seconds to read this. We're wasting time - again. We always do this. A simple, honest and light-hearted performance exploring the circus of fear and paranoia surrounding notions of the end' in a world that is racing so fast we, as humans, struggle to keep up.
