Fragment is a new work drawn from remaining fragments of the lost plays of Sophocles and Euripides, with a text assembled by Kelly Copper. "Epic stories need epic forms," says Nature Theater of Oklahoma, making their triumphant homecoming with this bold, exuberant 11-hour celebration of the most epic story of all: life. LIFE & TIMES: EPISODES 1-4 charts one person's account of their own life from earliest memory through adolescence. It's about you, too!

conceived And directed by Pavol Liska and Kelly Copper. LIFE AND TIMES, from a conversation with Kristin Worrall, features dramaturgy by Florian Malzacher, design by Peter Nigrini, original music by Robert M. Johanson, Julie LaMendola and Daniel Gower.
LIFE AND TIMES: EPISODES 1-4 are a production of Nature Theater of Oklahoma and Burgtheater Wien. Soho Rep's season is produced in association with John Adrian Selzer. Episode 1 was created in co-production with Internationales Sommerfestival Hamburg, Kaaitheater Brussel, Théâtre de la Ville Paris, Internationale Keuze Festival Rotterdamse Schouwburg, and the Wexner Center for the Arts at The Ohio State University. Episode 2 was created in co-production with Kampnagel Hamburg, le Festival dAvignon, Théâtre de la Ville Paris, Kaaitheater Brussel, and Rosas. Episodes 3 & 4 were created in co-production with Internationales Sommerfestival Hamburg, Kaaitheater Brussel, Internationale Keuze Festival Rotterdamse Schouwburg, and Künstlerhaus Mousonturm Frankfurt am Main GmbH. Funding support for Episode 1 provided by the MAP Fund, a program of Creative Capital, supported by the Rockefeller Foundation. He knows the story by heart-but can he navigate all the perilous twists and turns of his own obsession with it? Set in the dark heart of Zack's tiny New York studio apartment, Rambo Solo follows one man's private passion to its limits, as he struggles to re-enact the entire First Blood story in all its sweaty dramatic detail. Re-inventing Soho Rep's space, Rambo Solo takes us into Zack's world as he attempts to create a better movie version of the book-in his 250-square-foot studio apartment and with a budget of $100. Romeo And Juliet

Synopsis:
This one-of-a-kind performance is the result of a series of phone calls to people who were asked to tell, in their own words, the story of Romeo and Juliet from beginning to end. With some rather surprising twists and turns, given that no one seems to remember the exact plot, the myriad versions of the story compound in an array of competing scenarios. The participants try to invent themselves out of their own narrative blind alleys. Where memory fails, a kind of necessary creativity steps in to fill the void. What we are left with is a highly personal and original series of the famous story, infused with emotion and thoughts about love, need, and the complex nature of self-sacrifice.
