Death Penalty
Synopsis:
Mysterious killings have begun to take place. All the victims are women, struck down while hanging out the family washing. As public outrage mounts, Ted, an artist turned Justice Minister, is persuaded to bring back capital punishment, to the indignation of Winsome, his human rights activist wife. Somehow Ted also manages to antagonise everyone else in his department. And when Winsome is found dead, nowhere near a clothesline, Ted, the Justice Minister, is found guilty...'Death Penalty' is a black comedy, satirising various aspects of society, with capital punishment as its central theme.
