Bigger Than You, Bigger Than Me
Synopsis:
In BIGGER THAN YOU, BIGGER THAN ME playwright Kathryn Coughlin asks us to consider our own fears, both the extraordinary and the mundane, and questions what exactly our lives, and others' lives consist of and are worth in Washington, DC. Beth is a public school teacher who wishes her life felt a little more like a Hilary Swank movie and a lot less like herding cats. Adele has a talent for asking penetrating questions and wants to help her students feel like they're a part of something. Tucker works for homeland security (probably he can't actually say) and uses video games to unwind during his rare hours at home with Beth. These three DC residents collide in BIGGER THAN YOU, BIGGER THAN ME. What starts out as an abruptly intimate new friendship between Beth and Adele morphs into something very different when the latter shares some unbelievable information quickly has an impact on Beth, Tucker, and the jobs to which they are unequivocally devoted.
