Sarah Cowan graduated from Sheffield Hallam University with a Ba (Hons) in Primary education in 2000. She has worked extensively in schools as a teacher for the last 9 years, holding senior posts for developing and maintaining Arts provision. During this time she has managed a large number of gifted and talented Drama groups and music groups alike. Sarah now specializes in devising original Drama with young people aged 7 - 18 years. Her published play scripts have been performed to many countries worldwide and she continues to write original, humorous works, which appeal to children. Sarah's recent writing has led to the publication of her first children's book based on the play script, 'a Trip to the Beach'. Her work as a creative practitioner is mainly in the Primary sector, however Sarah is also director of the Bawtry Phoenix Youth Theatre. She is involved in a range of engagement and multicultural work with a number of Arts organizations and is currently establishing the 'Creative Footprints Drama Group', which will provide youth Theatre to youngsters in and around the Doncaster area

Synopsis:
This is the story of a special fir tree named Brian. Brian had always wanted to follow in the footsteps of his Father and grow up to become a big, strong, telegraph pole, just as his Father had done. He definitely didn't want to be a Christmas tree. You probably didn't realize that Christmas trees have their very own unique personalities and purchases should be made with care. there's a tree for every person and a person for every tree. . . but will there be someone for Brian?

Dog Sitters, The

Synopsis:
When Mrs Ponsenby decides to attend an evening at the theatre, it's Molly and her friends she calls on to look after Dixie the dog. the girls are most displeased when Molly's younger brother, adam, shows up with his friends to spoil their evening. they're even less impressed when adam reveals just what's happened to the dog!

Puppylovecom

Synopsis:
Hazel Watts has one thing on her mind. . . James adams from Year 6. She thinks of nothing else. So much so, she has hatched a brilliant plan - an online style dating agency for Years 4, 5 and 6! an unlikely plan to get off the ground except Mrs Perkins, Hazel's teacher, (who is herself no stranger to this sort of thing) thinks this is an excellent idea and will be the perfect method to co-ordinate partners for the school dance and of course promote literacy and ICT skills. all that is left is for Hazel to work her magic. . . but then, 'the course of true love never did run smooth'!
