Part of Write Stuff. Six new short plays written by 13 and 14 year olds from the East End of Newcastle are performed for the very first time as script-in-hand readings by professional actors. Showcasing the concerns of young people today, the plays have been developed in partnership with Benfield School in Walkergate as part of Write Stuff, Live Theatre's writing residency which gives young teen voices a platform through theatre. The plays include tales of living room war games, sibling rivalry, extreme sports for pensioners and celebrity revenge. From thriller to comedy, love story to action adventure, this is a night of theatre that is guaranteed to have you rolling in the aisles one minute and at the edge of your seat the next.
