Avery Crozier is the author of a one-act, The Rat Explodes (The Complex, Los Angeles, 1995) and a monologue in Endangered Species (Interact Theatre Company, North Hollywood, 1996). Eat the Runt premiered Off Broadway at the American Place Theatre in 2001 and has had a dozen productions around the country. Unproduced plays include Walking to Buchenwald and Pishtaco.

a honeymoon in Peru is plagued with ghosts and monsters, including the fat-stealing Pishtaco. Tourists from England, Australia and the US get far too involved with their attractive tour guide and pay the price of cultural imperialism in this nightmare comedy
