Elizabeth
Elizabeth
Synopsis:
Elizabeth is a heart-rending tale of the catastrophic effects of child abuse and the life-saving effects of true friendship, as a young girl tells her story at three different ages. When Elizabeth is a child she meets a boy in the playground, he seems to understand her and what she is going through. How does he know? The kindness he shows her helps her through her darkest hours, until she gets to college, when a boy called Nathan shows her similar kindness. She is his 'firecracker' he says, and wants to know her, but the past pulls her away from him. What is it about him that makes her trust him? She cannot put her finger on it. . .
