Synopsis:
Stitching Stories across the Mexican "American" Border by Yadira De La Riva is a woman's coming-of-age story through fences, concrete, citizenship papeles, immigration policies and booby traps of the el Paso, Texas and Ciudad Juarez border between the United States and Mexico. Through this Journey she attempts to stitch the border wound of her identity, family and community back together.
