Synopsis:
Stately home owner Sir augustus Thwaites launches a scathing attack on democracy at a dinner held by the Open Homes association. Worried that his attack will effect visitor numbers - the busy season is almost upon them - other stately home owners and some of Sir augustus' staff try to get him to retract. He does not. But the unexpected result of all this is a boost in visitor numbers.
