Jo Derbyshire was due to study art and History at University but dropped out and got involved in the fringe Theatre and poetry scene in Liverpool and Manchester in the early 1990's . Derbyshire eventually went back to university to study Politics, History and Fine art and is best described as both a visual artist, performer and writer. Current work can be described as psychogeography which embraces both performance and visual art 'When the City Speaks: Seasons' - an organic piece conceived and directed by Debyshire, has evolved to include performances in both Liverpool and London .
