Deadline - Stage Version

Synopsis:
Cliff Wheeler, disenchanted journalist, is stranded at the remote Nulla Downs Roadhouse. The proprietor, Maxie Bishop, seems to be hiding an intriguing guest who could be the source of a breakthrough story for Cliff's languishing career. As supplies and sanity diminish, Cliff is forced to question the ethics of exposing those who have suffered to the public eye. Is he hallucinating? Who is playing the violin and why does it affect him so powerfully? Will he face his demons, stop writing drivel for the Territory tabloid and tackle his long-neglected novel?

Now, In Terms Of Your Life, Irene

Synopsis:
Irene and Vince have arrived at a familiar impasse in their relationship. Irene wants more from life but, as things stand, is that really possible? Darwin isn't the paradise they were hoping for and a recent abortion has pushed Irene to the point of giving Vince his marching orders. Will Irene finally take that step? Vince attempts to mollify Irene with a stolen cat and visions of a better life in Queensland. This one act play explores a moment in the relationship of two people with limited options and a healthy distrust of blah-speak.
