Steven Dick, is originally from Dunfermline but now lives in Glasgow. For the last decade he has been performing on the stand-up comedy circuit and writing jokes for the most popular comedians in Britain. He has contributed or collaborated on television projects with amongst others Kevin Bridges, Frankie Boyle, Jonathan Watson and Fred Macaulay. His writing credits include Live at the Apollo, Stand up for the Week and Chewin' the Fat.

Faster, Louder

Synopsis:
The central character, Gavin, is a depressed middle-aged singleton who spends too much time sitting around his Glasgow flat, drinking cheap wine and surfing the internet. One night, he sends an ill-advised tweet to the effect that if he ever has to listen to a certain teenage rock stars latest hit again, the singer, one Tyler Mackenzie, will get harpooned; cue a police investigation, as Gavin is accused of threatening murder, and a furious army of fans gathers outside his house, baying for blood.
