Chaos theories, The
Synopsis:
the Chaos theories is set in and around a posh New York City restaurant. the play begins with a conversation outside the restaurant between an actress and a man who may or may not be stalking her. Immediately, we are shifted indoors, where a snide waiter serves drinks to a variety of characters including an obnoxious stockbroker, a tyrannical father, a woman bleeding from her forehead, and a playwright meeting with a powerful Hollywood producer. This dark comedy comments on a society that has stopped listening to one another. and while there are a few glimmers of hope, and a lot of huge laughs, the play's shocking conclusion bespeaks a much bleaker worldview.
