Patrick Rainville Dorn received his Ba in Theatre from California State University, Long Beach, and his Ma in Theatre from the University of Denver. For several years in the 1980s, he served as assistant editor and first reader at Pioneer Drama Service, then went back to graduate school, earning a Ma in Religious Education and Pastoral Ministry from St. Thomas Seminary. Dorn taught college theatre courses at Colorado Christian University for six years, and was the theatre critic for the Boulder Daily Camera for seven years. He wrote and directed numerous plays for Colorado aCTS, a youth-theater company in Denver for five years, and is on the board of directors for Story Ministries, a semi-professional Christian theatre company. an ordained priest, Dorn serves Epiphany anglican Fellowship. Patrick Rainville Dorn lives in Lakewood, Colorado with his wife abby and teenaged children Jacob and Claire.
