SaM DOWLING Is a Dublin-born playwright. He has written and produced nearly thirty plays or small-cast versions of classics for Praxis Theatre Laboratory. His subject-matter has ranged from Irish history through the lives of writers and artists to re-working of themes from the Greek myths. His play about the Bront?s ( co-written with andrea Bird ) has had three productions in Tokyo. Founded the Tabard Theatre in West London in 1984, North Pole Theatre in Greenwich in 1995 and the Old Courthouse Theatre in Frenchpark, County Roscommon in 1999. PRaXIS Theatre LaBORaTORY his experimental Theatre has toured UK, usa, Ireland, Belgium, Netherlands, Ukraine and Poland.
