End Of Things, The

Synopsis:
Jeff finds scraps of paper in a burnt-out building that allude to a world long since gone. In the manner of a doorstep salesman he approaches Colin tempting him with a lifestyle that no longer exists. Colin falls for the smooth talking Jeff but Doris is sceptical believing that this stranger is intent on stealing their few possessions including their hovel of a home. When Jeff dies during a storm Colin leaves Doris intent on finding Jeff's 'loft apartment' and living his life for him.

One of three interconnected plays with a theme of unrequited love inspired by Byron's 'the Dream' and performed as part of the Rochester Literature Festival.

Fish On A Plate

Synopsis:
A man is passionate about glass, his partner is passionate about words. they are passionate about each other. Guests are expected for dinner and the bathroom wall has been removed in readiness for a glass brick replacement. the 'passions' of a guest provide a temporary solution to the lack of privacy.

Synopsis:
A woman and her partner describe their day to each other. the woman is concerned about doing the right thing. In certain situations she feels she has failed to intervene. When she does, describing how she gave money to a young man in need, though not enough, she admits to briefly fancying him. Her partner strikes her revealing the reality of their situation.
