My name is Ellie and I am a Glasgow based performer and a maker of theatre and circus. Although sometimes my work is something inbetween the two and sometimes it is not theatre or circus. I aim to be adventurous, radical, playful and inventive in the work that I create. I graduated in 2014 from The National Centre for Circus Arts where I specialised in the ridiculously challenging discipline of Aerial Straps and am also a graduate of the Contemporary Performance Practice Course at The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. I have previously worked as a producer for the award wining artist led venue Forest Fringe and have performed at Buzzcut Festival, The Arches, BAC, Forest Fringe and Beacons Festival. I like handstands, Godzilla movies and Tunnocks caramel wafers.

Synopsis:
I know that people probably tell you this all the time, but I'm your biggest fan. This is a show that explores problematic love and country music. This is a show about the legends of country music, sell-out tours and dying of a broken heart. It is about multiple affairs, cancelled gigs, falling to pieces and line dancing.
