Ana

Synopsis:
Born before history - before even the gods - in the house of stars, ana is a strange and wondrous being. She is a delight and a terror. an abomination, a deity, a freak and the star of our carnival show. ana is not bound by the same laws that govern the lives of us mere mortals. When this creature is caught in the mouth of inescapable decision, she deceives fate by splitting into a new self, multiplying at every crossroad, escaping her own terror to survive, to be free. But the selves she leaves behind still exist and go on living to this day. Now, completely overcome and bewildered by her many incarnations, ana must face her selves to reconcile her countless existences.

Notes:
written by Clare Duffy And Pierre Yves Lemieux. This daringly bilingual play takes Audiences on A journey of creativity And madness. Combining the rhythms of Scots-English with Canadian-French, Ana dissolves barriers between languages to explore A space that words Alone cannot describe.

Money: the Game Show

Money: the Game Show
Casino and Queenie used to be hedge fund managers. Before the financial crisis of 2008, that is. Now, in an inspired or desperate career move, they've turned to performance art to share their stories of how to make (and lose) billions from economic downturn. Playing with £10,000 in real pound coins, you are invited to bet long, short and hedge, as Casino and Queenie guide you through a series of high-stake games that show how the world's economic system came to the precipice of total collapse. MONeY the game show takes a playful and politically sharp look at the roots of the 2008 financial crisis and its ongoing impact, as well as tackling some bigger questions: What is money? What is it worth? And what happens if we stop believing in it?

What if you were buried in your own skin? What if the doctors thought you were in a persistent vegetative state but actually you could hear every word, feel every breath on your skin and sense every change of light through your closed eyelids? What if your mind was still active, still wandering and thinking? When Kath sees a flicker in Ian's eyes, she's sure he's still 'in there' and wonders if he wants to live. Tangle

Synopsis:
Tangle is set in an underground research facility on Wimbledon Common where two scientists are on the verge of an incredible breakthrough. It's about the search for a lost brother, a missing uncle, a dead wife and an untraceable atom. It's about heroes, the ethics of progress and daring to believe in things we cannot see. It's a bit like Doctor Who meets Moonlighting. Tangle mixes quantum physics with urban myth, albert einstein with Great Uncle Bulgaria and uses leading edge scientific advances to teleport an orange. No really, we do. as with all of Unlimited's shows it's smart and it's funny. It throws some serious emotional and intellectual punches and it isn't scared of being a bit silly. It tells a great story and leaves room for you to do some of the imagining for yourselves. and we teleport an orange. What more could you possibly want?
