Big League, The
Synopsis:
This Play stick-handles Canada's national pastime from a kid's point of view. Tommy loves to play hockey, but his father has become so insistent about his son's on-ice victories that the game just isn't fun anymore. As his father demands more from him, Tommy's relationships with his teammates begin to be affected. With his friends turning against him, Tommy must decide how much he's willing to take. The Big League is a relevant and moving story about a boy who just wants to be accepted by his father. Any child or adult who has ever struggled with extracurricular activities - be it music lessons or water polo - will identify.
