Bump
Synopsis:
Ben and David appear to be the perfect couple, but they're missing just one thing to complete the Pottery Barn catalog that is their life: an equally perfect baby. When they ask Ben's flaky sister, Ally, to serve as their surrogate, they are shocked to find that she is already pregnant. As Ben and David's relationship begins to fray due to suspicion, the silent treatment, and a constantly ringing cell phone, Ally struggles to decide if her floundering career is worth sacrificing for a family of her own. Bump is a play about motherhood, unrealistic expectations, and birthday cake.
