Scott elmegreen is a writer of Theater and fiction. His musicals include COLLeGe the Musical and Vote For Me: a Musical Debate (commissioned by Tony award-winning producer Robyn Goodman). elmegreen has also written music for a number of original productions including We Can't Reach You, Hartford (Edinburgh Fringe Festival) and What I Took in My Hands (produced in residency as part of the Ontological-Hysteric Theater Incubator series). elmegreen is a Richard Rogers award Finalist and is the recipient of the NYMF award for excEllence in Writing, the Pace New Musicals award, an MTV award for the music video "You're Good enough for Now" from COLLeGe the Musical, and a Fringe First nomination as well as a Fringe Report award (Best Play) for his work on We Can't Reach You, Hartford and Joyce Carol Oates' Tone Clusters as resident composer of the American Story Project. elmegreen is a graduate of Princeton University.

Synopsis:
Yesterday Allie was just a normal kid, but today she's headed into outer space! With the help of her trusty talking dog Captain Chaos and Rover the Dancing Robot from Mars, Allie's on a mission across the solar system to save Earth, and maybe learn some things about science along the way. But she'd better be home in time for dinner! Grab your space suit and get ready for an adventure that's out of this world!

College the Musical

Synopsis:
This story takes place over the course of a weekend in the common room of 212 Gauss Hall, the greatest party room on campus. We follow Nathan, our starry-eyed, enthusiastic, and slightly awkward freshman protagonist, as he meets the members of the room and their friends: the charismatic and mysterious ringleader, Jay; lovesick Sarah; athletic Eddie; studious Simon; overextended and highly caffeinated amy; video-game addict, Rob; seductive Lindsay; obsessed public safety officer, agnes; and the rest of an energetic cast in this whacky but familiar world. and then there's Katharine, the girl everyone knows Nathan ought to end up with but whom he constantly overlooks, distracted by his newfound freedom and the excitement of college life. Soon Nathan learns about the joys of sleeping in, partying, playing video games, skipping class, and living the "ideal" life of leisure championed by Jay and his roommates. But as life progresses and events start quickly spiraling out of control, Nathan realizes (with some help from Katharine) that maybe the world of 212 Gauss Hall isn't everything it's cracked up to be.
