anders Falstie-Jensen graduated in 2005 from The University of auckland with an Ma in Drama Studies. Before coming to New Zealand he studied dramaturgy in Denmark for three years. as part of his Ma he worked as a dramaturge on Co. Theatre Physical's a House across Oceans which was performed at The Silo Theatre and subsequently went on to tour nationally. In 2006 he production- and stage managed Pandemonium Theatre Company's season of Black Ice at the Concert Chamber, worked as a publicist for the Telecom 38th auckland International Film Festival and tutored at the University of aucklandâ¬"s Ma course 'directing for live performance'. anders co-founded The Rebel alliance Theatre Company and has directed their previous productions The Orderly and a Night of French Mayhem. He currently works for Indian Ink theatre company (www.indianink.co.nz) on their upcoming production The Dentist's Chair.

Set in a garden wonderland of magical fairies, the tale has captivated audiences for generations. Now auckland Museum has adapted the play into a 45-minute performance that will delight children and families.

In 2010 writer/director Anders Falstie-Jensen pitched A vague idea to the Auckland Fringe Festival: he wanted to do A play featuring sweaty Actors on treadmills. And that was pretty much it& Little did he know that the play originally intended only for A fringe season morphed into Standstill, one of The Rebel Alliance most critically Acclaimed shows to date.
