James Fauvell, originally from Flushing Queens, is a Director, Producer, Actor and the Co-Artistic Director of the Award Winning LabRats Theater Company in New York City. He served as Producer on The Rise and Fall Of A Teenage Cyberqueen, which won the 2013 NYIT Award for Outstanding Premiere Production of a Play. James regularly collaborates with Vertigo Theater Company- he directed both the sold-out run of The Living Room Series by Padraic Lillis and a shorter piece for COLLAB by Lindsay Joy. He also directed Lindsay Joys Repast at the Tank Theater as part of the Zurich, NY Cycle. He created and directs the tri-annual Monologue Series, which began at Jimmys No. 43 and has now found a home at The Barrow Street Theater and features the writing of some of todays most exciting Indie Theater writers including; Kyle Bradstreet, Jessica Brickman, Lawrence Dial, Lindsay Joy, Mike Lavoie, Padraic Lillis, Pia Scala-Zankel, Daniel Talbott and more. As an actor, his most recent performance in Carroll Gardens Aborning led nytheatre.com to say he is perhaps the most likable performer I have seen this year Other credits include: Mike Birbiglias My Girlfriends Boyfriend(Lucille Lortel Award, Outstanding Solo Show). Film Credits Include; Sleepwalk With Me(Winner, 2012 Sundance Film Festivals Next Category) written by Mike Birbiglia and Ira Glass, and Chasing Home(Gotham Film Festival).
