Present day Dublin, in a tiny flat, a smell of mouldy bread and crusty clothes wafts its way through the nose of Larry's inner thoughts. Greeting his dole officer, Eldridge, in his dressing gown - he is unemployed, heartbroken and hung-over. In truth, he is paralyzed by our national pass time and excuse for everything - drink. With things looking bleak, Larry finds the company of a civil servant a cheap alternative to therapy. Will Larry get to grips with his life? Can he stop the boozing and finally pull things together? Will his rent allowance application be approved? Passive and lost, Larry unintentionally shines a scorching and painful spotlight on the modern day 'Irish Man'. This ballsy piece of theatre hits at the heart of one man's problems, whilst touching on those of a generation.
