Mr. Firke is an English and Government student at Wesleyan University in Middletown, Conn. He is an occasional writer for Mindful Metropolis magazine.

Synopsis:
When Liam McLaughlin buys his first computer, he begins to acquire skills that can deliver him from his grim life in the slums of Belfast, Northern Ireland. However, Liam's older brother Michael, a committed IRa "volunteer," fights to "make a man" of Liam and steer him towards a life of pipe-bombings and random beatings. Can Liam escape from his violent surroundings and into a world of technological innovation? Or will his family drag him down?

Synopsis:
Billy Weller is a successful record producer who makes an easy living turning out commercial pop singles for his friend and mentor, Tom LaMott. When Weller receives a demo tape from Mark David Chapman, the murderer of John Lennon, he must decide whether to risk his career and friendship in the pursuit of reclaiming his artistic integrity and rehabilitating the infamous killer in the history of rock.
