Alas, Poor Bill

Synopsis:
Bill is in charge of a dig at a desert archaeological site. However his mind is not 100% on his job, and his current extra-curricula enthusiasm is cryonics, or the freezing of the human body after death in the expectation of coming back to life in the future. Felicity, visiting from Australia, warns that this interest is adversely affecting his work, his standing among his peers, and their future. Partly to reinstate himself in her eyes, he embarks on a dangerous course with undreamt of results. Their life will never be the same again.

New Wives Tale, A

Synopsis:
Folima is convinced that her husband has returned to their homeland to find and bring back a new wife. The play, sometimes comic, sometimes serious and highly dramatic, deals with her efforts to frustrate his plans. Love and trust are hampered by lack of communication and those misunderstandings common to most marriages, and here magnified by issues arising from migration to Australia from a country where society is male-dominated and polygamy an accepted custom. Can these issues be resolved in a way that is acceptable to Australian culture and mores and to the family members themselves? Can Folima win through?
