Janine is a choreographer and performer with a curiosity for what moves us (emotionally) and how this moves us (physically). She create performances that draw on dance, live art and theatre practices, and her ideas stem from a fascination with how the body negotiates the relationship between action and emotion. Janine appeared in CPT's 2013 Beyond the Joke festival as one half of double-act The Two Wrongies.

Practice of Everyday Things, The
Synopsis:
The Practice of Everyday Things is show about what happens when we don't tell the truth. Armed with some everyday activities (yes, that includes eating crisps), Janine investigates how our physical habits can speak volumes even when we are silent. The Practice of Everyday Things is a choreographic exploration of the sometimes sad, dark and ludicrous habits we develop to tiptoe around the elephants in the room.

Trace Elements
Synopsis:
A woman struggles; trying to be honest without telling the whole truth. She is going round in circles trying to figure it out, leave it behind but old habits die hard. Trace Elements fuses repetitious movement of the everyday with taut stylisation, to create a silent plea for the past not to be repeated.
