Lifting the Mask
Synopsis:
Journalist Craig is due to interview Amy, a working escort. But Amy has much more of an identity beyond her employment. Meanwhile, British-born Farid is travelling around Africa attempting to compile an alternative travel guide. As word spreads about a terrorist plot, Farid flees the destruction he encounters. Back in Britain, Craig and Amy are creating their own destruction. Finally, the stories crash together - blurring the gaps in-between. Examining the origins of our perceptions, Cameron Forbes world premiere peels back layers to expose the different treatment of social injustices around the world.
