Christine Foster is the author of three plays commissioned for Solar Stage Theatre, Toronto, one for The Lighthouse Festival, Port Dover, Ontario, and six for Cliffhanger Productions, one of which won Toronto's Dora Mavor Moore award for Best Production in 2004. She also won Best New Play at Storybook Theatre, Calgary for The Boy Who Wanted to Learn Fear. Other stage work includes book and lyrics for five original musicals, of which Everything But anchovies was translated into Danish and produced in Copenhagen. Extensive radio and television credits both as script editor and writer range from CTV's The Littlest Hobo to CBS' "Friday the 13th" and "Top Cops," to the History Channel's "TimeChase" and Family Channel's "Mentors."

Companion, The

Everything But Anchovies

Synopsis:
Four grade-twelve students are driving home after a disastrous appearance on a high school quiz show. Eric, the most popular kid in school, blames the others and tries to put off going home to face humiliation by pretending his car has broken down. The four - who have nothing in common except their mutual hostility - are forced to spend an evening together in the middle of nowhere.
