Cynthia Frank is a playwright and academic. She studied Theater Arts at Penn State University. She also has a Masters from Harvard Divinity and a PhD from ColumbiA. She has taught at Rutgers, Montclair State, Marymount Manhattan and Metropolitan College. Previous plays include "Dr Liebling's Circus" produced by Columbia House, "Whatever," nominated for the Chris Wolk award by the Abingdon Theater, and "Biedrich," directed by Paul J Michael. Her TV parody, "the Hero with a Thousand Reruns" was produced by CaP 21. Her last play, "the Pantyhose Grid" was directed by Paul J. Michael and staged at the Connelly Theater as part of the FringeNYC Festval in august 2008.
