Synopsis:
Every family has secrets. Charlotte, a successful business woman, watches her carefully ordered world collapse when she arrives for a surprise visit with her mother, famous Canadian poet Falina MacDonald. The living room's a mess and there's a strange man sitting on the couch in his underwear. "Deception" explores the truths we choose to believe, the trials of artistic temperaments and the moments when we are forced to face the harshness of reality.
