As a writer, Steven's play, Craplicker, was performed at the 2010 Toronto Fringe where it received Best Of Fringe and was remounted at the Toronto Centre for the Arts. His play, Memorial, was the winner of the Trafalgar 24 Play Creation Festival Jury Prize and had it's Toronto premiere at the Next Stage Festival in 2013. Memorial was also seen as part of the Queer Arts Festival in Vancouver and has had subsequent readings at Half Moon Theatre in New York. His play Stealing Sam had it's premiere at the Toronto Fringe Festival in 2013, where it received Best of Fringe and Patron's Pick, and was awarded Outstanding Play, Production, Actor and Director from NOW Magazine.Stealing Sam made it's New York premiere at The United Solo Theatre Festival in 2014 on Theatre Row where it was awarded Best Drama. As an actor, he was most recently seen in Stealing Sam at United Solo in NYC, Albin in La Cage aux Folles at Neptune Theatre (Merritt Award Nominee). Two seasons in The Dream in High Park as Quince in a Midsummer Night's Dream, and the original cast Top Gun! The Musical! at the 2002 Toronto Fringe. Steven is the recipient of a 2013 Harold Award. .

Stealing Sam
Synopsis:
Sam and Jimmy have been best friends for more than twenty five years and they are supposed to be facing gay middle age together. When Sam dies, its up to Jimmy to plan their final picnic together.
