Mark-Eugene Garcia is the author of several plays and musicals. He is also a resident playwright of the F.A.C.T. Theatre Company and studied book and lyric writing with the academy of New Musical Theatre. His musicals include the HOLY COWS OF CReDeNCe SOUTH DaKOTa, the JOURNeY, and most recently FaCING eaST, while his plays include MISSeD CONNeCTIONS and KeYS. He focuses on intimate stories and unique relationships, usually involving the strength of family, friendships, faith, and unlikely connections. His works have been included in the Los Angeles Festival of New Works, the Puzzle: Marble's Festival of New Works, Untucked: Five Plays about LGBT Culture, F.A.C.T. Words and Wine, Instant Theatre, and Talent on Tap- by Dreamcatcher entertainment.

Journey, The
Synopsis:
the JOURNeY is a modern retelling of the Prodigal Son. In Napa California, Daniel JEricho come of age and claims his inheritance leaving home and leaving his Father ezra and younger brother Samuel to run their family winery. Throughout his drive cross country, and his encounter with a prostitute in New York, Daniel learns that he can go home again and upon returning discovers that what was lost is now found.
