Ashes To Ashes And Whatever You Want

Synopsis:
Two best friends - one pretty one plain - and their changing relationship is the theme welding 'ashes to ashes' and 'Whatever You Want' together. But each plays stands alone. ashes to ashes. Margaret is seemingly unaffected by the death of her husband, Max, while Divora mourns his passing as she sits and looks at the urn containing his ashes. But have they got the right urn? a compelling two-hander, the play charts Margaret's descent into murder and madness. Whatever You Want is the lighter side of the coin. In this version Margaret is married to Ray who wants to sell their beauty salon while Margaret, inspired by a weekend course on assertiveness, wants to expand it. Meanwhile, Divora aches for endless romance while her husband Steve longs for peace and quiet all find fulfilment but not in the way they expected. Both plays are simple to stage with single sets and basic props.
