Love, Money, God, Drink, Christmas
Synopsis:
Love, Money, God, Drink, Christmas is an ensemble play that challenges the myth of being "home for the holidays." The play unfolds over the course of four Christmas Eve parties (1997, 2001, 2005, and 2009) in which the world screws with the Sullivans, and the Sullivans screw with each other. Spanning the last two decades of the American experience (the Clinton years, 9/11, and the Great Recession), Love, Money, God, Drink, Christmas asks to consider if our families really are our closest loved ones, or just the ones we can never really get away from.
